Week 2: Realign — Returning to Your Center

After a week of releasing old energy and softening the body, we now step into the second phase of our December Reset: Realign. This week is about remembering who you are beneath the noise. It’s about grounding, stabilizing your energy, and reconnecting to your inner strength.

The Power of Realignment

Realignment is not a one-time moment, it’s a practice. Every inhale becomes a chance to return to your center. Every exhale helps you settle deeper into presence. As the holiday season intensifies and life feels busier, your yoga mat becomes the place where you reclaim your stability.

This is the week to ask:

What supports me? What grounds me? What brings me back home to myself?

This Week’s Yoga Focus

We’ll focus on poses that create steadiness through the legs, core, and mind:

- Warrior II: Strengthen your foundation and anchor yourself in intentional movement.

- Tree Pose: Practice balance, patience, and calm focus.

- Bridge Pose: Open the chest and strengthen the lower body for deeper energetic grounding.

- Gentle Flow Sequences: Slow transitions that align breath and movement.

Expect slow, steady, strengthening flows that help you feel rooted and centered.

Breathwork for Alignment

Use this simple practice anytime you feel overwhelmed:

Equal Ratio Breathing (Box Breath)

Inhale for 4—hold for 4—exhale for 4—hold for 4.

Repeat for 1–2 minutes to calm the nervous system and restore balance.

Journal Prompts for Realignment

- Where in my life do I need stronger boundaries?

- What does being “aligned” feel like in my body?

- What daily habits support my peace and stability?

- How can I realign with my values before the year ends?

This week is your invitation to rebuild inner stability—physically, mentally, and emotionally. As you realign your energy, you prepare yourself to receive everything the end of the year is trying to bring you.
